Updates on upcoming DeFiChain projects • With so many exciting projects launching over the coming months, periodic updates on these projects will be shared to keep the community aware of the status and changes: • On-Chain Governance (OCG): OCG including updates on DeFiScan and the DeFiChain Light Wallet to facilitate proposal creation and voting will be available on 26 Jan 2023 • Consortium: To be launched by early Feb 2023 • ERC20 Bridge: Development is currently underway and is progressing smoothly. More updates will be shared in the coming 2 weeks, with a launch expected in Feb 2023 • DeFi Meta Chain TestNet and MainNet: More developers have joined the development effort, and the project remains committed with a delivery in Q1 2023 3. Activation of On-Chain Governance On-Chain Governance (OCG) will be activated on 26 Jan, which will also be when it will start accepting DFIPs and CFPs: • Start of proposal submission for first OCG cycle, 26 Jan, Thursday • End of proposal submission for first OCG cycle, 9 Feb, Thursday • End of voting for first OCG cycle, 23 Feb, Thursday A special DFIP would also be introduced on 26 Jan in parallel with the first OCG cycle.
