The core community developers have rectified the issue in DeFiChain, and this is attributed to a bug introduced by DFIP-2211-B (dUSD burn bot).
Separately, the developers are also working on a stable release to re-enable the dUSD burn bot. More details will follow once the developers have a stable release for the dUSD bun bot.
Meanwhile, funds on the blockchain are safu.
