Here’s what’s been happening in the DeFiChain ecosystem this week. /defichain/status/1695017419465498634/photo/1 #1 Latest MetaChain Layer Updates Both Beta 9 and Beta 10 for Changi TestNet were launched this week, with the key point being that the core developer team has finished building all necessary features for mainnet. The focus now is purely on stability and testing before setting a RC. More details can be found in the release log here: https://t.co/jHYYMighW1 #2 Governance: Special DFIPs are now live Special DFIPs #285 & #286 have successfully passed the voting round and soon be activated on DeFiChain. The 2 DFIPs that passed include: DFIP #285: Stake dETH-backed ETH on Bake, convert rewards to DFI, burn DFI for enhanced value. DFIP #286: Stake DOT, SOL, MATIC for DFI buy & burn via Bake. Also, dDOT-DFI, dSOL-DFI, dMATIC-DFI pairs on DEX. They will need to be reactivated with these latest changes, but until the impending launch of MetaChain, Ocean might experience higher volatility. To reduce this, the burn bots will be up after the MetaChain launch, once Ocean is stabilized again.
